Road Trip Day 1
So ... i made it through my first day on the road ... the audio books were awesome. I got to hear the bonk book by mary roach ... science of sex ... good stuff - very interesting and entertaining.
I drove 13 hours and made it all the way to dc to visit my parents. We'll be on the road bright and early tomorrow morning - but since i'll be with my parents - they'll be driving ... yay! ... and off to visit my mimi (my mom's mom - she doesn't like to feel old and be called grandma ... heheh)
I miss everyone already ... it was really hard to hold back the tears as i kept thinking about being at home and hanging out with my friends. But i'll be making the best of this trip - even though i secretly can't wait to get back home. Which is also bitter sweet, as shortly after i return, i'll be back in school - and struggling my way through organic 2 - which i still need a tutor btw ... anyone know organic???
ps my mom just got guitar hero - and i also got to teach her how to play tonight :)
