BBC is a load of pants today
Today the telly was switched off during the day, so I was able to avoid most of the bum-licking, sycophantic coverage of the royal wedding. In the evening we turned on the TV to BBC for the news and what should we see but ... oh well.
But that's not the worst of it! There was also a trailer for Torchwood: Miracle Crap. In which there are some explosions and guns and some thin-faced gal says to Gwen, the Princess of Wales, "If you're the best the English have to offer, then lord help you" or something like that. And then the SuperGwen says, "I'm Welsh" and launches into the slowest kick-jab you've ever seen. Seriously, if you were so slow in real life, the other person would have already taken you down by then. But it's WonderGwen we're talking about here -- she's awesome, you know! 'Cos Rusty said so, and it's serious drama!
Oh, and it is also being advertised as 'original BBC show'. I thought it was Starz who are producing the show? Have the BBC turned into outright liars as well?
