Doctor Who, woohoo!
I have to say when I saw Gareth Roberts's name in the opening credits I was a little scared. After all, he and RTD had co-written the absolutely awful Doctor Who episode 'Planet of the Dead'. But I needn't have worried!
The Doctor in nothing but a towel! The Doctor in football kit! The Doctor with adorable tousled hair! Woof!
James Corden was pretty good as Craig. I don't dislike the character of Amy Pond, but in my opinion Karen Gillen is not a very good actress. She has pretty much the same expression on her face in every scene.
This was a fun, rollicking episode, the kind of stuff RTD had begun to consistently fail in delivering. So Rusty, this'll blow your tiny, ego-addled brain, but there are better showrunners and writers than you!
