reading spam...
So, work is incredibly slow this week. I have time to waste, and I don't even have to feel bad about it because there literally isn't anything for me to be doing when there are no customers here. I've been reading my gmail archived spam, and now I'm reviewing it on Livejournal. Go life!
Most of it is, quite frankly, illiterate and nonsensical. But the other day, I got a message with the subject line "Naked Whore fucked by monster cock", which consists of a pair of links I didn't click, and a collection of unattributed quotes and sayings :
Boredom is a vital problem for the moralist, since at least half the sins of mankind are caused by the fear of it.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
Bizarre, huh? It came a lot closer to getting me to click than most spam does, though. Today's message, presumably from the same source, wanted me to know that :

If both the physiological and the safety needs are fairly well gratified, then there will emerge love and affection and belongingness needs, and the whole cycle already described will repeat itself with this new centre. Also not to be overlooked is the fact that the love needs involve both giving and receiving love.
Bwa? I find myself with the peculiar and relatively unwanted feeling of gratitude towards spammers for amusing me this morning. I think I'll go have some gummy worms for breakfast and ponder this further...
