I've done a little soul-searching about where I personally draw the line for online privacy between sensible information control and ludicrous paranoia, and one of the results is that this journal has gone friends-only. I simply prefer knowing who I'm talking to. (If you're disturbed at sentences ending with prepositions, this journal is probably not for you.)

This doesn't mean I don't like talking to strangers, but I do prefer to know whether the stranger I'm talking to today is the same as the one I was talking to yesterday. Comment to be added.
