I have successfully wasted the day with gaming, which doesn't mean i like gaming or that i'm good at it so i keep it up. It means that i planned to stop after the 1st stage, but I'm soo pathetic i couldn't get past it.
It took me about 3 hours to beat the first stage of Kingdom of Paradise, mainly because i gave up after the 1st 40 tries, restarted the game from the beginning, leveled up about 3x what i was before, then tried again. Still took me 3 tries. Learning all this junk about chi-levels and hanti techniques is throwing out all the chemistry i learned last year.
My brother actually made the mistake of getting me real games, not the easy pseudo-games i get for myself, like inuyasha: curse of the mask or whatever. He got me Final Fantasy X-2, and upon opening the present i visibly paled, because I knew I would actually have to have skills to beat this game. I tried FFX when it first came out, had paul beat stage 1 for me, then realized i was out of my league.
Oh well, six more days of freedom to play, then back to school, during which i will probably never touch the games again. Happens this way every year, last year I got Okage: Shadow King, and actually managed to get to the final boss, when school started again. Haven't touched it since, and i probably deleted my save point by accident.
The only reason i'm online now is because mum has me "tending" the fire, meaning i've killed the fire and am trying my best to re-light it. You'd think that i'd be good at setting fires... off to burn my school work...
