Fluffy Shopping Heaven

OMG, I haven't went shopping in a long time! Clothes shopping, that is. How I missed it! I need to get my Dad something for his upcoming birthday as he's coming down next weekend to visit. T-shirts were on the top of my list, although it's seems like there's nothing at the stores that scream "Dad". It's either too hip/young or snobbing/polo shirts (which I don't think I've ever seen my dad in a polo shirt) and I'm slightly afraid to try to buy him a dress shirt for work. $50 for two shirts a Dillards (one was a baseball shirt for the Reds) and then I ventured into the mall. Found two more t-shirts for him and two cereal (Apple Jacks and Frosted Flakes) t-shirts for me. All four under $50, yay! I needed more t-shirts, but this isn't why I'm so excited for the shopping trip. There was a store that said "All Clothing for $10 or Under" and it looked like it had some cute girly clothes. I love cute girly clothes that has to be dry clean (which is a pain as I always end up not washing the clothes or just sticking it into the washer and hang dry it), but I don't wear them too often as it's always easier to throw on a t-shirt and jeans.

And it DID! I brought two skirts, a shirt, and a dress for $42. I love big puffy/fluffy skirts and dresses. The two skirts are so pretty and the tags say they were originally cost $80 and $100. And I got them for only ten. **squeel** I love these skirts. Too bad I have to work tomorrow because I would have worn one of them to my Grandpa's b-day party. At least I'll be able to wear one next Sunday for the Mother's Day party my aunt is throwing. There's nothing really special about the shirt--it's just slightly fancy with lace. But the dress? Oh, I just love it! I wish I had my camera with me (Mom took it to take pics of my sister who was wedding dress shopping today). It's red and white. Goes right below the knees and fluffy, straps and a v-neck. It's so pretty I almost didn't want to take it off after trying it on. And luckily I have somewhere to wear it too. My little sister is getting married in the summer and it'll look perfect for her big date. **grins** I really want to go put the dress back on. I know I will tomorrow night to show off to my mom.

And I guess, I better mentioned my mom and sister's shopping results for a wedding dress. She's getting married by the justice of peace as they don't want a big wedding and their not religious. So she didn't want a real wedding dress, just a very pretty dress. And of course there's a bunch of formal dresses out now because of Prom season, so I knew it should be hard for her to find something. My mom took pictures but I haven't seen them yet but she describes the dress as sea foam green, low cut (always low cut for her), and long. I'm sure it's a flowing dress as my sister's slightly on the heavy side so a slinky, skin-hugging dress is out of the picture for her. I can't wait to see what it looks like.
