1) Chapter 699 - Almost everything I wanted. Sasuke's apology, the parallels between chapter 181 and this - "thank you" said in broad daylight, and a given promise that Sasuke would see Sakura soon. Happy sigh.

2) Chapter 700 - Kind of annoyed that we see Sakura dusting instead of working, I want to see what she's been up to!, but then, we only see Sasuke wandering, too.

w/r/t other ships: I'm actually pretty fond of Ino/Sai so I didn't mind that, and don't care one way or another about the other "endgame" ships.

guess i should delete my previous thread, or maybe could i merge them? now that's too hassle for me lol

anyway, like i said, THIS WAS TOO MUCH (but in a good way)
the thing that touched me the most, was sasuke poking sakura's forehead; we know what it means from previous chapters with itachi and stuff, so it was a very important gesture. it was a really beautiful panel.
uchiharuno bbgirl, didn't see much of her but she seems like a fox. ( also it's kind of funny that her name in greek means salad. like, that's how we exactly call salad that has tomatoes, cucumbers and stuff.)

SARADA IS THE BEST! (I think it means Salad in japanese too, lol.) I like that she was introduced as Hinata 2.0... and then her last panel is planning about how to vex Sasuke as far as possible, i.e. she's a trickster too.

LOL that's exactly what I thought when I saw that. All that is missing is the feta and olives!

I guess naming her Salada is better than naming her Tomata? Since Sasuke likes tomatoes and all...LOL

It was ok. I wasn't expecting the moon and stars so this is probably the best ending there could have been. I'm indifferent to be honest.

It wasn't perfect but it was decent. And yes, finally SasuSaku is canon! However, Sakura dusting when her daughter gets home irritates me. Unless she had the day off from being a super awesome medic-nin, I don't like to think of her being shafted (again) by Kishimoto.

The names of some of the kids though....

Same. Would it have killed Kishimoto to show Sakura at the hospital working instead of at home dusting? Or, at least doing something we've come to associate her with, instead of housework?

This exactly. Sakura is Tsunade's apprentice, could've at least shown her in a lab or medical room or something...

It's all the more annoying because this is the last glimpse of Sakura we get - and it's not that she was dusting, but more that she wasn't doing something else relevant to her character's journey. Sighs.

Lawyers and doctors clean their houses too. I assume with all of the books stacked on the shelves there that she's still in the medical field. And there is the movie to look forward to where she'll be kicking butt. The characters in general weren't really doing all that much. I mean, Hinata was taking her daughter to Neji's grave. Temari talking to Gaara at home. Several characters didn't seem to be doing much except Naruto, Shikamaru, Gaara, Kankuro, Sasuke, Lee and Anko (who needs to be a bit more busy...).
