dearest 2006
Dear 2006,
Hands down you were best year that anyone could ask for, Besides ’88, which was my birth year. You have given me so much and you have also changed a little girl into a woman.
Ever since the beginning you were there to grant me my very first job. Although it wasn’t he best job in the world, it opened so many windows of opportunities for me. I then got a much greater job, which showed me the definition of hard work and just how fragile money can be. Then again, to remind me- you took all that money away from me, so I learned to never be too trustful with people and to never start something I couldn’t finish.
Then in February you threw cupid’s arrow straight at me and I got my first long lasting relationship along with the greatest boyfriend anyone could ask for. This especially brought so many changes and new experiences into my life, such as my first kiss :) yayy
You also were the one that ended the "hell-hole" that is Arcadia high school..and gave me a greater appreciation for school. I am so happy with how my high school years went.. i only wish i could go back to those days though huh. You gave me the first thing that i will undyingly be proud of- Graduating from Arcadia High School. Ranked one of the best high schools in california.
Then you turned me over to baseball street, who would have people that would be more than friends. They could be gangsters,or druggies,or drinkers, or dealers, or anything else-they are family. I can always turn to them, and them to me
now, in 2007 i will try my best to remember all the things ive done in 06 and continue my streak of achivements. I am registered into citrus college and attending a Real Estate class as well as 2 cardio fitness classes to start me up for the cross country season to come. I am ready to take my Citizenship exam so i may finally become an american citizen( without having to marry my boyfriend or anything o__< ). I am studying hard to pass my S.A.T's with a good grade in march.
I am also trying to get my passport ready to take my first trip to Japan. < if anyone is interested in joining me it will cost around 2000..which is pretty cheap for rooms and ticket and money to spare for shopping. im thinking of staying for a month> And with the help of god, i might be able to get into cal poly pomona as well as take my looonng awaited vacation to japan!<3
