Summary: Castiel awakens on the side of the road in the middle of the night with no memory of the last several days and his grace burning through him much faster than it should be. He heads to the Bunker to meet up with Sam, and together they set out to find the presumably dead but somehow missing Dean. Along the way they have to deal with Castiel's rapidly fading grace and discovering what Dean has become, as well as figure out what happened in the four days Castiel doesn't remember. It all ends in a showdown with Dean, and the return of a friend who is able to fill in the missing pieces.
