(no subject)
Hello everyone,
Sorry I haven't updated in forever...I've been so busy between my school work and when I do have a spare minuete I like to go off to differnt cities or sites of London. But it is sad of me to think that it will all be over in 10 days.
This past weekend I went to Paris, it was amazing. The Tower is huge and at night they light it up like a huge chirstmas tree, the locals think it's goddy but I was giddy like an idiot watching it. I also went to Notre Damn, Versailles and their beautiful gardens (my favorite place I've visited, the fountains and flowers were breath taking an no pictures will do it justice, so I can only hope everyone can see it for themselves one day. But my favorite thing to do over there was sit in the cafes, drink a nice glass of wine and just observe the people. But admit I believe Paris is more expensive than London, and it deffinately is more dirty, but the good news is that I didn't have a problem with anyone being rude to me becuase I was American.
Tommorrow I'm heading off to Dover to see it's castle and it's white cliffs and will also stop by Canterburry. I can hardly wait, but I must admit I'm running on E here and I'm averaging about 3 hours of sleep a night.
This weekend I'm going to Scottland for the military Tattoo, which is a big ordeal that I had no idea about...supposely there are thousands of people with bagpipes and such...At this point I can only think either it is going to be amazing or it is going to be horriable and I'll need a stiff drink afterwards.
Good news the London Gaurds have arrested all four people with the 2nd bombing attacks, but keep me in your paryers because they are fearing something will happen again this week.
