i think i deserve to complain...
soooo today wasn't such a great day and here are some reasons why:
- i got up this morning and it was raining. i figured OK, i can deal with this, i have my waterproof jacket and umbrella. Well, I couldn't find the umbrella but still had the jacket so i figured i was ok. WRONG! So Chelsea and I start walking on our way and my bookbag is getting soaked cause nothing is covering it. I put my raincoat over my bookbag to stop the rain but then my zipper doesn't zip because there's too much stuff! I still figured it would be OK.
nope nope, wrong again. By the time I got to the student union my capri jeans were completely soaked and the uncovered part of my shirt was wet as well. SOOOOO...i decided to stop by the student store (drenched) and i bought some shorts and changed into them and got an umbrella as well. One would think the day would improve after this
- the next problem came with my shoes. I chose not to wear real shoes this morning because i didn't want them to get soaked so i wore flip flops instead. I walk out of the suite and nearly fall because the concrete is slippery BUT i go on anyway. By the time I get to the field house I have to take off my shoes becaues it was impossible to walk. So....while i was outside i never wore shoes. Ater my last class i put on my flip flops and start way out the building only to slip, slip some more and tehn fall on my butt. Needless to say the shoes came right back off....to be continued.
- i lost my cell phone today! I was sitting in econ in this giant class with my bookbag in my lap (becuaes I was cold from being soaking wet) and during class i hear something fall to the floor right near me. but of course, i didn't look to see what it was. After my next class I realized it and went all the way back to Carroll to look for it because i remembered the noise of something hitting the floor...which is when i fell becaues i was running down the hall to get it. Turns out though, Chelsea found it and brought it home.
- continuing shoe problem....So, around 3, Chelsea and I decided to go get some laundry done. It had stopped raining and things were drying up so I think to myself "what the heck, i'll give the ol' flip flops another whirl. I get down to the laundry room without a problem, I start my homework while i'm waiting for a free laundry machine. finally one was free and things were looking up! SOOOO...I got my basket and headed over to the machine. Well, I walked up right next to this giant yellow cone marked "warning, juicy area" (...aka the floor is slippery) I slipped and fell right into a big puddle of liquid laundry detergent. GROSSSS!! I am never wearing those flip flops again.
- last problem of the day: I am almost done with my bag of BBQ Lay's which are my FAVORITE chips because like the bag says, You can't eat just one.
ooook.....so that's enough for today. just had to vent :-D
