hrm!
My dad got this e-mail from my brother, who's in Japan (Jason - don't get too jealous).
Hi, how are you doing? I'm good. We got here at about 1915(7:15) on
thurs(japan date). We are 14 hours ahead of you. right now it's
1552(3:52pm) here so there it's 0152(1:52am). We're usually a day ahead of you.
Man that was a lot of time on a plane. We spent about 19 hours total on
a plane.(BORING). This base is beautiful. There are mountains pretty
much surrounding the entire base. All of the trees here are like the
trees you might find in a Dr. Seuss book. The cars here are weird as hell
too. Brands and types that you never see in the states. The weather here
is a lot like there. I've seen about 20 skylines and sylvias already.
We're going out in town tomorrow to learn how to use the public
transportation system. Anyway i've got a lot of people to write to so i'm gonna
cut this one short but i'll write again soon.
