At last, something for all women who love drama, beauty and excitement!  Gothic Bellydance is a new sensation which originated in America just over 20 years ago and is now taking the UK by storm.  Styles of dance included are Egyptian, Indian, Flamenco, Tribal, Burlesque, Ballet and Contemporary.  Music encorporates artists such as Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, The Cure, Nox Arcana, Gypsy Caravan and more!  Come and experience to believe...

Sascha is a professional performer who has danced bellydance for the past 11 years and now specialises in Gothic Bellydance.  Her classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere above The Marlborough, 4 Princes Street in Brighton (opposite the Royal Pavilion).  They will be taken in 2 parts - the first half will concentrate on traditional bellydance movements that form the basis of Gothic Bellydance and the second focusses on Gothic Bellydance itself which will include, veil, cane, whip and high heel work.  Please wear a long circular skirt and a scarf to wear over your hips (black must be your base colour).  Bare feet to begin with, but please also bring high heeled boots or shoes.
