Idiots who are workmen!
Why is it that workmen like to think they are above our station?!?
Have had to stay in most of today to keep track of Sky being fitted as well as curtain rails being measured. The guy who installed Sky seemed to think that 'designer clothing' is the best and always is to be worn - he's a london boy originally and misses london because brighton is somewhat behind - there's no prada - he bought his first prada when he was 15...more like a charity shop jobbie to me! He made the mistake of saying that designer clothing never changes and that everybody down here is 'somewhat behind'. unfortunately he made the mistake of saying that in front of me and my mother....I gave him a very long lecture about how actually 'designer clothing' immediately goes out of fashion and the clothes that you call behind are actually more comfortable, flexible, and more interesting. He mentioned that Brighton was like being back in the victorian period....at least here is more up to date than london is. You want Prada, then fuck off back to London you fucking wanker!!!!
Sorry, rant over! I am fed up with idiots in general today as you can probably tell!
However the man who came to measure our curtain rails was a lot more sensible, so that's better compared to a cheeky young pup who thinks he can get away with blue murder!
Anyway, at least for the next 2 days, it's more relaxed - Friday we have someone else coming in to sort something out. I tell you, sometimes it is like living on a building site as we have workmen popping in and out at the moment with it being a new build and all.
At least I've got my dream gothic bedroom as a birthday present to look forward to.
Don't know what I'll get up to tonight, but see what happens. Found a pagan moot in brighton which is good and am job hunting as well. Some good leads have come up, so will let fate take its course.
