Ok, that was the weirdest weekend ever!
Friday saw mum, dad and I going down to Brighton to put down the deposit on the apartment as well as see another one in case we'd made a mistake. Luckily we hadn't, so that's something. However we're keeping the other one on the back burner in case things go wrong. Then while mum and dad were at the solicitor's, I wandered around Brighton to see what was what. It's definitely a lovely place that's for sure. I even came across its rival to Fairy Gothmother...One thing's for sure, it's definitely a good time to move down - there's loads of places that are looking for people to work, so that's something.
Talking of work, Fairy Gothmother let me go on Saturday - my replacement wanted to start immediately! Did they have to do it by phone though and make me call them back to do it?!? So as you can imagine I was upset - didn't do my friend's 40th birthday party any good I can tell you. Didn't help either that her friends were not exactly accepting of me being different apart from my friend. Didn't go anywhere with them afterwards - lack of money.
Yesterday was spent staying in. But today though, I got a call from Fairy Gothmother saying they'd made a mistake! The girl wanted to start next week, not this week! So I'll be doing at least one final week there and the manager will let me know if I can work any more remaining shifts before going to Brighton, so that's fantastic! I'm a happy bunny again! Christ what's going on with bunnies?!? They seem to be cropping up everywhere - oh yes, easter's round the corner isn't it?!? Chocolate feast as well as chips! (Gave up chips for lent!!!!!!)
