I Really Need to Keep Up!
Wow! I know... It's been forever. So much has happened. Let me update you.
I finished my first year of college! Of course, this semester ruined my GPA. It's amazing what a D will to to a 3.20. I am now the proud owner of a 2.88 GPA. To translate for you... I am going to have to work my butt off this summer and next semester to get my GPA back up.
Speaking of summer, mine is full. I'm working in the Registrar's Office all summer. I'm also working with the summer camps again. This summer, however, I'm working in Burnett (the crappy dorm). I won't get to hang out with the camp staffs. This makes me sad. I love hanging out with all of them. I'm hoping that some people in Butler will need some shifts covered and I can work there some. I want to have another cook out at the end of the summer. I'm also taking three classes this summer. One class, five days a week, three hours a day, for three weeks. The first class, Foundations of Education, starts on the 11th of May. Can you say busy summer?
I am going to Peru!!!! That's right, PERU! I'm going on a mission trip. I leave on August 2 and return on August 14. 12 days! I'm so excited. I can't wait to travel and teach the children.
I have saved the best news for last. I met a guy. His name is Daniel, and he's 22. He is a youthminister and praise and worship leader. He's such a sweetheart. I'm really excited to see what is going to happen. We are taking things slowly, but it's looking good.
