Last month, Chicago alt-rock station WKQX (Q101) played a song called “The Great Divide” by “a mystery artist.” It quickly became one of the station’s most requested songs and was put in heavy rotation. A DJ announced three weeks later that the band in question was Hanson.
The moral of the story? For some reason, Hanson got a bad rap after “MMMBop,” but it’s actually a great band.
The other moral of the story? Pranks are FUN.
Hanson is getting ready for a tour in support of their new album The Walk.
