So I went to the Monroeville Mall today to wander around. I went into Journeys to look for a pair of new shoes. This Asian girl came up to me and asked what I was looking for and I told her I was thinking about Chucks so she took me over to the rack with them on it. She was super friendly, telling me about the 5 pairs of Chucks she has, joking around with me, whatever...she spent about 15 minutes exclusively with me helping me out and stuff. I know that it's retail and flirting is a good way to get a sale and whatever...but she was still pretty friendly and cute and everything. I finally worked up the courage to ask for her number. It was the first time I'd ever asked a random girl for her phone number. She told me she had a boyfriend, but then said "but...if you wanna talk or hang out or something." So I said "Well, do you need someone to go get a drink with sometime?" So she gave me her number anyway and wrote "Kristen from Journeys aka new drinking partner." So, that was interesting. I guess it was cool that I got her number anyway. She was cute.
