OKAY, SO.
THE PREMIERE HAPPENED.
I loved it, even if it's just me. But you know what, people? I think we can be proud.
I shamelessly took this from tumblr, and if any of you have it, you know the love is clear over there. We did well in this one, probably more than any other ship in those 40 mins (and we all know that's unusual, EVEN IF ~*~SASSY~*~ IS FOREVER CANON.)
It pretty much turned out to be everything I want from this ship, and there were many little moments. Everyone was worried about the stabbing in the previous ep. Cas acted like an offended girlfriend... but got over it pretty quickly. (Probably considering he'd humpty dumpty'ed Sam, he could... you know. Be a little tolerant.)
What happened later was just awesome. Sam believed in Cas. He never stopped. He considered Cas one of their own, no matter what happened, and he prayed to him not just to ask for something, but offer it. When Sam messed up, Cas still believed he could beat Lucifer. Now that Cas failed, it makes all the sense in the world that Sam would still believe in him.
And when Castiel appeared after Sam called? Priceless moment there. Or just look at Sam trying to comfort him in the lab, even if they are both broken as hell. THE FAITH NEVER WENT AWAY.
And was it just me being crazy, or when Sam was going nutty and thinking he was strangled, he called out for Cas?
