I really have to protest the rule about no graphic sex under 18. I get no graphic extreme underage, but 18 is kind of overkill. Most places in the world the age of consent is usually 15 or 16. To put a restriction on all underage aex--which is a kink that is neither uncommon nor considered particularly risque--is to first of all get rid of all high school AUs with graphic sex (which is a huge chunk of the fic that gets written in fandom and for challenges like this) and also to alienate a huge group of authors who would like to write for your challenge, myself included.

Obviously it's your challenge and you have the right to set whatever rules you want and ultimately decide whether to keep them or not, but I wanted to let you know how I (and I'm sure some others) feel about this.

Thank you for your comment. As we mentioned in our rules, the age 18 cut off is only our initial stance, it's arbitrary, but convenient and seem to be the most commonly used cut off on the internet. Rest assured that this rule is not meant to ban high school AUs.

Even if there's explicit sex scenes, since it is conceivable that a HS student is over 18, as long as the participants are not explicitly stated as under 18, it's not against the current rules. (For example explicit sex between two HS seniors with no age mentioned is perfectly fine). Please let us know if this is work-around okay. We certainly welcome continued dialog.

haha, "bob" is really a catch-all term for any fic that doesn't fit in any other categories. We want to be as inclusive as possible. :)
