so i've been in alaska for about 2 weeks and i love it! believe it or not, 0 degrees here is not as cold as 50 degrees in fl because there is no humidity. its a crisp, nice cold. not an " i want to die" cold. the summers here are really gorgeous i've heard (by just about everyone). 75 high is the norm. Bryce's family is really cool. The only one that has any drama is Malinda back in OK...fat bitch is still talking shit trying to gt them to not like me... little does she know that everyone in this family hates her. Bryce's dad has warmed up to me very well which his kids say in "unnatural". He has woken me up in the morning to go on walks with him to see moose and stuff (they are wild here) which is pretty unheard of. His sister, kathryn says it means im part of the family, which is really nice considering i thought his dad didnt like me when we first met over xmas and he found out bryce proposed.
Midas got parvo a day after we got here. Poor baby seriously almost died. he couldnt walk by himself except a few steps. he was puking up water and not eating. he had bad diarrhea with blood in it. it was horrible. he felt like death. Luckily my aunt is a vet in WA so i called her and she covered the $1500 bill so i wouldnt have to put him down. So happy for that. he really is the best dog ever. Bryce and i have been thinking about getting him a talent agent because he knows a lot of tricks and listens really well to his commands and learns new tricks usually by the 2nd try. i seriously love this fucking dog.
oh, i got a job today! i now work at daybreak coffee stop. its a cute little drive through coffee stand and the owner is really awesome. shes way laid back. openly admitted that ill make better tips if i wear low cut shirts. haha. it seems like a cool place and it will be nice to kinda work alone a lot. i start in april. she wanted to tke a few weeks to get things organized and make a chart of the drinks for me so i know how to make them... sad thing is i've never made coffee in my life! hahaha. AND it makes me laugh that i've been here 2 weeks and already found a job when everyone i've met here said i wouldnt be able to find work and tessa said it took her 6 months to even get an interview. haha bitches. im the shit. ;)
