The author chose to remix one of my favorite little ficlets The Scent of Violets.
The remix The Lily, The Violet and The Tiny Babe is such a gentle story of a mother's love.
I don't want to give too much away, but this line Lily’s love could shield her son from the most powerful dark wizard of their time, but it couldn’t protect him from his aunt’s neglect or his teacher’s scorn. just touched my heart so much.
Please go give it a read. It's a lovely slice of life and yes, it is implied mpreg - but that's not the point of this story. Read it and leave the author all kinds of love...she really deserves it for such a perfect gift.
