Exciting Stuff!
I had lunch with a friend on Saturday and she works for Merrill Lynch. We were talking about her job and my job and blah, blah, blah, and then she said that she thought I would be a perfect fit for a couple of positions that they currently have open. Today she e-mailed me and said that she had spoken with her boss and he is interested and would like to see my resume! Phew! Nervous! I have been with this company for 10.5 years. I always used to say I loved my job until the past 3 years when a specific individual started here and decided that he wanted to make my boss', my co-worker's and my work lives incredibly difficult. And upper management will do nothing about it. So, a new job might be just what the doctor ordered if it's a good fit. I had begun looking a little, but had really no idea which direction to go because it has been so long since I've looked and I am in a completely different place from where I was then. Crazy business :) We'll see where things go from here! Wish me luck!
