So cute
Tonight after the girls went to bed I stayed downstairs in the living room and read the paper and played with Matthew while Neil watched a rugby game and Gillian did some laundry. Both girls came puttering downstairs about an hour or so after they'd been in bed. After a few minutes they went back up to bed. Not long afterwards, Matthew started fussing so Gillian took him to feed him and put him to bed. I came up to my room and was on the phone with my dad. I heard a noise in my bathroom and thought Gillian was in there emptying the trash can or something. The bathroom has two doors, one to the hall and one to my room. Both doors were opened. The door to the hall kept opening into my doorway when I heard this noise. I looked up and saw Teddy, Ana's teddy bear peek into my room. Ana wiggled herself between the doors and greeted me with a big smile in her tshirt and nappy. Picture-perfect cuteness. It was now WAY past her bedtime so I had her crawl up into my bed for some quiet time. We played with Teddy, Paws (the Detroit Tiger), and Dr. Failure (my koala) and after awhile I pretended to sleep in hopes that she would fall asleep. She understood it was quiet time so when she spoke to me, she would whisper. She rolled over, looked at me, and said "I love you, Cassandra." My heart melted completely. She did it again about 10 minutes later. We were in my bed for about 45 minutes til that little bunny fell asleep.
