It's Gonna Be A Good Day!!!
My car broke down on me yesterday while I was out running errands. Bummer. This kind of thing would have freaked me out years ago, but now it's just, "Oh. Damn." And get the thing towed to the shop. They say it's the fuel pump and of course they dont have one and will order it from Seattle which will take an extra day and it will cost...blah, blah, blah.
Plus, our desktop punked out on us last week and is still in the shop and the three of us are sharing one laptop. Poor me, huh. It's really amazing how dependent we become on our machines and sometimes it takes being without them to realize it.
I think I'll spend the day being Suzy Homemaker like that's not what I do everyday.
Maybe I'll take the dog on a walk in the rain.
Or, maybe I'll just start drinking as soon as I'm done with my coffee. I've always said that I know it's been a good day when I go right from my coffee to mimosa's and from there into an early cocktail hour. And to both Rebecca's: I owe you emails but my turn on the laptop is nearly up so it'll be a bit before I reply and to Vancouver Rebecca, I promise to think of you when I pop tha' cork baby!
