McLean's Turkish Army of 1812 This book was originally published in London in 1815 ( на обложке - 1818 - прим. моё ) by Thomas McLean. The water-colors were made from life by the French contemporary artist de Molleville in 1812. This is the primary source on the Turkish Army of the period. Though the Turkish style dress is most prominent, European style is obvious in the artillery and European style Bostangis troops.
