Perfect Day
Happy St. Patty's Day Everyone ~ I hope you wore your green. I woke this morning, cleaned my room, cleaned the living room, started a load of clothes, stopped for a muffin at the campus bakery and strolled into work by 8:00am. I couldn't believe it. I worked like a crazy lunitic, took a couple of smoke breaks with my student worker and enjoyed the sun. Then around 11:00, I stuck my head in his office and asked if he was ready to call it a day? I truly believe we were the only ones at work anywhere on campus. I started the Irish Stew then moved some Day Lillies from my front yard to my back corner and mapped out my new flower bed. I then started the Culcannon, took a smoke and walked around the yard mapping out what other things I want to transplant to the back bed. Now, I'm catching up on LJ and just waiting for folks to arrive. Yep, it's St. Patty's Day and I'm sure I have a little Irish in there somewhere. This is my last night baby-free and husband-free. So far I know of 2 people coming over for supper. I'm hoping a big crowd shows up out of the blue. How fun would that be?
Welp, time to light some insense, pop open a St. Paulie's Pale Ale and have another smoke.
