Only a few moments left in this office then I'm home free. I had a great weekend visting with friends that for some reason or another I haven't seen in a while. I was so happy about going to Biloxi this weekend until I found out JulieO was going to be in Starkvegas. Now I have mixed emotions. Oh well, Biloxi should be fun. Heading out on a sailboat for a wedding on Saturday than off to the reception after that. A friend flying in from Dallas and another from Denver. Too many parties to make them all, but perhaps I'll find myself in the Big Easy for a crazy night.
I now have a potty chair in my living room. We are no longer calling it the potty (negative feelings are obviously provoked by the word potty). It is now called the little fun chair. The little one is so amazed that when water is poured into the pot a little song plays, so now we have to pour cups of water into the fun chair. Where did I go wrong with this whole potty thing?
A beautiful red cardinal just landed outside my window. This place is a wildlife refuge for sure. Just Friday I watched a skunk walk down the sidewalk in front of our little house. I ran to the other side of the house to watch the reactions of students changing classes. It was quite an entertaining time for me. Luckily I was here alone and was able to laugh out loud. I kept waiting for the skunk to spray someone, but it never did.
