OVATION
I'm so excited. Ovation is coming to Starkville once again. My friend Matt and some buddies of his pulled together this great party a few weeks ago called Ovation. The had it in "The Bar Formerly Known as Cheers" (How funny is that name?). Anyhoo, if you've ever been to TBFKaC you known its the favorite hang out of Starkville's most wanted rednecks and alcoholics. Now, I've visited TBFKaC a time or two in my day, so I guess I can't knock it all that bad, but you wouldn't believe this place when Matt and the rest of the crew get a hold of this space. white sheets hanging from the ceiling forming walls that move, white leather lounge seats with martinis on every table. Everyone is dressed to impress and having a good time. It's looks like one of the coolest city clubs you could go to. There was even a mini art gallary. Last time four different DJs were spinning some very cool tracks. It felt so surreal that this place was actually in a little sleepy town like Starkville. I guess it just reminded me of some great nights in New Orleans, San Diego, and other places. Hopefully Seattle soon. Welp, Ovation was such a success that they're doing it again this Saturday. I can't wait! They're actually flying in a dj from San Fransisco. I'm really looking forward to it.
