Can you believe I'm Actually Posting???
Friends, Romans, Countryman, lend me your ear.... That's pretty much all I remember! Sorry I haven't posted in FOREVER, but so much has been going on. I've been on the road with work a lot lately. Unfortunately it's only been between Starkville and Jackson. Maybe I'll be able to leave the state on business soon. I'm ready to catch a plane out of here for a while at least. Work has been very hectic, but I do have a new office now. Yes, it's official, I have a door! Now the pressure is really on. Now that I have real wall to hang my degrees on I decided to attach a little hangy thing to the back and wouldn't you know it, I broke the glass trying to nail it in. Is that going to give me bad luck? I hope sure hope not.
Today is going to be a pretty full day for me. I'm closing on a house today. Yes, I'm buying my first home. (House Party March 13th) I'm not going to know what to do with all this space...and I can paint the walls any damn color I please. We have a huge building in our back yard that we will be turning into a game room/guest house.
One of my best friends just moved to Starkville from Jackson, I'm so excited about having her here. I'd forgotten what it was like to have a close friend in the same town with you. It is an awesome feeling.
Emery is growing up so fast. He's 18 months now and beginning to form sentences. It's so amazing watching him grow. He's more and more like his daddy everyday. Emerson changed his bed from a baby bed to a toddler bed just the other day and now we can't get him to stay in it. We've had to pick him up off the floor each night and lay him in bed. It's pretty funny.
Thanks Igorxa for the shout out! I've loved reading and catching up with everyone. You know, I'd love to hear from juliebear143 and princessdestini also. I hope they are both doing well. Rollerboogieboy it's always entertaining to read about the movies you watch. I'm so out of the loop about movies these days, I didn't even know there was contraversy with The Passion of Christ. Maybe I'm just ignorant or it could be I'm just too busy, but I don't understand all the contraversy. I haven't seen it yet, but I do plan to see it. Congrats on your trip to London and Italy! You are going to have a blast! Think you could fit me in a suitcase?
School is kicking my butt this semester. I'm so far behind in Stats and I have a test this Tuesday. I don't know what I'm going to do. Anyone want to show up and take the test for me?
Well, I should probably get moving. I'll try to post again soon. I know you are all yearning to hear about my life! LOL.
Igorxa, I'd love it if you could make my party on the 13th. I'm hoping to get Juliebear143 there too.
