I don't know why I'm watching the presidential debate as I am Canadian but I have to say, if America votes this Romney guy in I'm moving to the Yukon. As far north as possible as I can get before I end up in Alaska

I only recently heard about the pro-life thing. Seriously? Is that right? How can an educated person really believe they have the right to choose that for someone else. I know that is probably an incendiary remark on my part but I very adamantly believe in a woman's right to choose.
I also heard he was an Adventist/Mormon? Those people scare me, for the simple fact that they very strongly seem to believe that their way is the only way and that way is in direct contrast to pretty much everything I am.
I love how passionate everyone is. If I had posted these remarks about a Canadian debate I doubt there would been a single comment. We are so apathetic it's insane.
Well, part of that is we Americans don't know diddly about your politics. And boring politics sound great! We have lunatics like Todd Akin saying women's bodies prevent pregnancy in the case of rape.
Seriously. I mean, if a woman wants to continue a pregnancy caused by rape, then that's her choice... but forcing her to is just continuing the violation. Making it a blessing...
Aren't Christians supposed to be little-e evangelical? Like, think it would be nifty if others converted to their beliefs? Well, listening them talk about their version of God is like the opposite of evangelizing. It's devangelizing. "Hey, know what I'll do today? Not convert to a belief system where the deity is a douche."
