This may be TMI but I don't give a rat's ass.
I went to the doctor this morning for a bladder infection. Easy in and out, right?
FML
While I was there he noticed my hands were shaking. Now, my hands are always shaky, have been for as long as I can remember. I don't even notice it anymore, though sometimes it has freaked people out. Anyway, he listened to my chest and then did that thing where he holds your wrist and checks your pulse. I guess my heart rate was well over a hundred and I guess that's a bad thing.
Next thing I know I'm hooked up to an EKG. My heart rate and my blood pressure are way too high. I'm now on beta blockers for the next two weeks to get my heart rate down and then they will reasses and try to find out what the underlying problem is.
I had to take the rest of the week off work to "calm myself" and get my heart rate down which means I had to tell both my jobs that I couldn't go in.
And when i got home it was too discover my teenager hiding in her room because she had skipped school today and that my phone doesn't work because there is water in the lines. Not to mention the multitude of everyday shit I have to deal with. My ex, who I am sometimes dating keeps calling and passive aggressively guilting me into coming over. and..and...
Deep breath.
Sorry for the word vomit it's been a shit day and all I can think is I'm only 36 I can't have a heart attack or a stroke, I'm too busy. Which may be part of the problem...
Okay, done whining.
