Homecoming!
We picked Lucy up at the emergency vet tonight. She still had a little fever, but she was eating which was a very good sign! When the vet brought her out I could see a huge difference in her attitude - she was very alert. We have to keep her on Amoxocillan for a few more days because she has a pretty bad infection. I think we'll all sleep a little better tonight; she's happy to be home!
Dave and I will now add Lucy to the pet insurance that Oliver has. If we had added her on last summer (with Oliver), this ordeal would have only cost us $180 vs $900. Lesson learned.
