It's been a while, hasn't it? And it seems that I only come here to rant my frustrations but let's hope I keep up with updating this space more or less consistently, so that I have a proper journal of my final year in Manchester!
For starters, and specially for those back home, the curious ones at least, here's how my new room looks like:
For those who still don't know, this year, I'm staying with two of my friends in a two bedroom apartment. Being the only one who can sleep through a fire (let's hope that never happens), I've made a room for myself in the living room.
Before anyone asks, I chose those curtains from ikea cause they were the lightest. I was afraid any others would be too heavy for the hooks to take. Also, being the OCD me, I really wanted something that would just look nice and fit in with the look etc. I think it works fine for me really and I'm quite pleased with it!
Here's how it looks like from 'outside' in the living room:
Anyway, the past two and a half weeks back in Manchester have been quite busy with all the settling down and getting in with the flow kinda thing. But I'm glad to say a lot of good things have happened so far, which I shall save for another day's post. For now, I need to get back to studying/catching up (already falling behind :/) - also, I'm studying guys! Doesn't mean I'm only playing just cause my Instagram feed shows no books. Proud to say I've gone for my first two seminars with work prepared! :D
Hope all's well!
