The Killers at their best: Killing
The past few days the same tracks/albums have been on repeat non-stop. My rule is that when one gets hyped for a show, one only does it a week before and no earlier. So this week was Killers on iPod, and a few days ago, it started Killers on YouTube, etc etc. Especially after watching The Killers Live at Royal Albert Hall DVD performance, I swear my ecstatic-level tripled up (understatement) like nobody's business.
This morning I woke up, and wondered to myself if they would be in Singapore by now, how cool, being on the same land as the Killers. Specifically, I couldn't wait for 4pm to come, after my presentation, then I'd tweet (which I obviously rarely do unless it's of major significance) or Facebook in the next class, this: GOODBYE PROJECTS HELLO KILLERS.
What felt like 2 minutes, ok fine not 2 minutes, but I think it was about 10 fucking minutes after my presentation, Amelia hand signal-ed to me that the Killers were cancelled. The following is how the sequence was after I found out the tragic news:
0:01 - don't believe
0:03 - state of shock realising that Amelia would never kid about such a thing
0:05 - EXTREME STATE OF SHOCK
0:10 - typing names into a msg but figured calling would be faster
0:12 - called Shirin, but forgot that I was in class, thus I couldn't talk loud
0:15 - I controlled like fuck, wanting to scream out loud...
0:18 - sent out a text to Shirin, Linisha and Wilfred
0:20 - STILL IN EXTREME STATE OF SHOCK
1:00 - OUT OF CLASS, ON THE PHONE WITH Shirinn, shouting in the corridor... and people actually stared at me, but wtf.
It felt like as if someone died (touch wood) I swear I wanted to cry. I wanted to cry when I was on the phone with Shirin and they were in a total state of shock, wanted to cry even more when bloody Wilfred said 'Are you squealing?... Eh cry leh' then I was superrrrrr close to crying when I saw Farah and told her the news and her face went :O even though she's not going, but even if people not going are shocked, imagine how people going would feel. Like i said to her, this feeling is ten times worse than not getting tickets to the show.
It's like wtf man, I'd rather not have tickets to the show than to have the show cancel on me! Like how I dealt with not catching Coldplay eventually. And all along when I see cancelled performances on tour pages, I feel so neutral about it, but now it's like wtffffff now I know how they feel. It's like SO BLOOOOOODY NEAR yet so bloooody far. It's like way 2 days more?! WTF MAN.
And what's worse is that The Killers are going on a hiatus. (*&^$%#^%$&*(&)**&^%$^#%@$#^&*()* 2 more years and counting to seeing them. All the more they should come down if they're going on a hiatus after Australia.
It is with great regret that The Killers have been forced to cancel their upcoming appearances in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul due to unforeseen circumstances.
The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hopes to reschedule their shows in these cities soon.
Do they really apologize? RESCHEDULE MY SAI PLS, what is there to reschedule soon if you're going on a hiatus?! And pls for goodness sake, you've already gone to Australia how many times, just fucking stop going there willl you?! Cancel Australia and come to Asia la, knn. Or are you against Asians? -.-
I know I might sound extremely immature and childish in this post to not understand how it's 'unforeseen circumstances' and they 'have been forced'. But I'm just fucking annoyed that I've been hyping myself up for so long and my hopes and excitement just get killed so bloody easily. DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY ANYWAY about unforeseen nonsense and forced -.-
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT THAT IN ALL ENTIRETY OF THIS SITUATION, I DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT MONEY OR MY FUCKING REFUND. I JUST WANT TO WATCH THE KILLERS LIVE, BLOODY HELL :( That's the least my reward for completing all my bloody projects should be!

KILLERS, IF THIS IS REALLY YOUR WORK OF ART = CANCELLING SHOWS, THEN YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY A DANCER AND NOT HUMAN.
I'm psychoing myself so damn bloody hard, based on my brother's theory that they cancelled their show because they're sick of it (thus the hiatus) and they think that if they had the show... they would be putting on a bad show. But we all know that's quite retarded because if so, why keep Australia then?

IF we were to believe the words of LiveNation that the band WAS FORCED to cancel the show, the only party I can think of forcing them to cancel would be LiveNation themselves. So, LIVENATION, YOU LOSE ALL MY TRUST. HOW CAN YOU LET SUCH A THING HAPPEN?! This is bloody epic (in a bad way). THE BLOODY CONCERT WAS SOLD OUT LEH KNN.
God, please please please let a miracle happen.
