my thoughts on a rediculous holiday
Dont you ever just want to take a step back and say to yourself, "Self...what the fuck is Valentines Day anyway" why am I getting myself so worked up for a day that really means nothing. Why cant tomorrow be just like today, and why wasnt yesterday comparable to this day?
Ive had clients all week talking about how they bought their daughter a new outfit for their 'v-day' present, or one lady brought in her 13 year old and spend 300 on new makeup for her. WHY?
Why is everyone buying everyone gifts? If anything this made up holiday should be for couples, lovers.
Now its involving everyone. I think its stupid.
Stuffed animals w/ hearts on them-stupid
passing off everyday items as gifts ex. clothes-stupid
saying happy valentines day to everyone-stupid
getting upset b/c you dont have a "valentine"-stupid as ever
If everyone wants to take ONE day of the year to throw a huge fucking party for LOVE...lets call today Earth Day. Go plant a tree, or buy something organic. yeah. do something productive.
