Ice Hotel and frozen falls.

Last weekend we went to Quebec City to visit the Ice Hotel there. The whole thing being built from ice and snow.

Yes, that is a chute made of ice.



The suites were individually decorated, though there were a bunch of 'standard' rooms too.












There was a bar/club, where the shot glasses were made completely of ice.

I really liked that a lot of the decoration/art on the place was stuff frozen into blocks of ice. This one at the front door was a particular fave:



On the way back to Montreal, we stopped off at Montmorency Falls. We've both been there before, but neither of us during the winter. The falls weren't completely frozen, but enough to notice, and the hill of frozen spray was starting to build up.
