The new lippy flavors came in today. From opening and sniffing durn near all of them are winners!
Blueberry - OMG BLUEBERRY, and a very nice one at that.
Sweet Dreams - Blend of Vanilla and White Spices - a very nice sweet smell.
Buttercream - this is mild and sweet, vanilla-y.
Spiced Cranberry - definitely cranberry, with spices - perhaps a bit of underlaying 'perfumey' scent.
Sugared Shortbread - a nice sweet sugary smell.
Pumpkin Pie - mild pumpkin here, more focus on the 'pie' part, I'd say.
Chocolate - MK hated this one, but he says that anything 'fake chocolate' can go jump. I say it's not bad; smells like ... chocolate.
Gingerbread Cookie - similar to the pumpkin pie; focus on the 'spice' bit of the gingerbread. Nice.
Christmas Eve - Blend of Cinnamon, Vanilla, Clove, Ginger - a very nice kind of ... cool... sort of spicy scent.
Midnight Pomegranate - Mild pomegranate with a blend of spices, another with an underlay of 'perfume.'
Creme Brulee & Cocoa - very sweet scented with a cocoa sort of after-smell. Nice!
Sleigh Ride - Blend of Fir Balsam, Peppermint, Cedar Leaf, Spearmint - pine-y with a mint afterburn. Fun!
Autumn Wreath - Blend of Fir Balsam, Cedar Leaf, Clove, Vanilla - this one was very nice - like that very good warm potpourri that never lasts more than a week.
I had an order i couldn't 'finish' up yesterday in the sense that i couldn't slap the labels on the tubes. MK moved the printer from my computer to the one that runs the TS server which is on 24/7. It was a logical swap meaning that the entire network would have access to the printer all the time, not just when my computer was on. Excepting that the network knew the printer was there -- but wasn't actually printing anything. So i left him a note to poke at that this morning when he got home. Turns out that he'd left it unplugged inside the flatbed part, because he'd recalled something about having the drivers installed -before- hooking up the printer or Windows would flip out. He never got around to installing the drivers (I did that yesterday, because he'd said he was meaning to do that in the next day or so) so he never hooked up the printer 100%. Duuuurh. Ok, so - end result - printer working yay! Except ... wait. Why isn't the black printing? Argh! Do a nozzle cleaning. Do a print check. Do another cleaning. Check the ink levels. All SAYS it's supposed to be just dandy. But it's not. We ended up having to drive down into town to pick up black ink for the printer before i could even sit down to get the labels/order form done. Oi.
Added bonus to the trip into town: I got (another) new headset to try out for comfort while playing WoW and using TS. Hopefully, these'll be comfortable and not lend to migraines like my last pair. Oh, and don't mention earbuds. I cannot begin to tell you how completely totally desperately and utterly i hate those things.
