laboum.
LABOUM, or the party in French, is a 6-member girl group that debuted in August 2014. The group is a joint project produced by Nega Network (Brown Eyed Girls, Lunafly, LC9) and NH Media (U-Kiss). As there are different kinds of parties, their group name and concept is derived from this, and they wish to showcase different styles and concepts through their music and performances to the world. Their debut was announced on the 19th of August through a teaser for their mini album, Petit Macaron, quickly followed by individual teaser photos of each member. Their debut music video teaser was released on the 22nd of the same month, and on the 27th, the music video for 두근두근 (Pit-A-Pat), was released on their official YouTube Channel. The the Petit Macaron album was released on the 28th of August, the same day as their official debut on M!Countdown. As of right now, Laboum does not have an official colour, but their official fan/club name has been chosen to be Latte!
yujeong.
KIM YUJEONG. 1992.02.14. leader, lead vocals. blood type b. seoul.
Known as Laboum's aegyosal, Yujeong has the cutest face and is the member who looks like a maknae. She has the most natural aegyo in the group despite being the oldest. She was previously a memmber of another vocal group that debuted in 2010 that apparently failed to take off in terms of popularity. Still, she decided that she would not give up and three years on, she is now the lader of Laboum and one half of their vocal line. Yujeong is interested in acting, and has a bit of experience when she appeared in a drama with the role of an idol group member. It was Yujeong who created Laboum's signature unique clothing concept of taped legs, after watching Solbin (who would get hurt easily during practices) get bandaged by staff, and thinking that it was a pretty look that made their legs look nice. She pitched the idea to their CEO and it became their style concept. Yujeong is known for her fast metabolism, and in her free time likes to excercise. As a result of this she claims to be the most flexible.
Yujeong's role models include Lee Sooyoung, Baek Jiyoung, and Lee Hyori. Like them she wants to be an artist that will be around for the long run. She would personally like to collaborate with Block B's Zico. Accodring to the other members of Laboum, Yujeong is the least shy, and easily adapts to any situation well, as well as dissipates tension quickly withn the group with her aegyo. She is also the cleanest in the dorms, and takes on the role of Laboum's "mom".

soyeon.
JUNG SOYEON. 1994.05.04. main vocals. blood type a. gwangju.
Known as Laboum's voice you want to hear before you sleep, Soyeon has a nice set of teeth, and is easily distinguishable by the dimple in her right cheek when she smiles. She is friends with Miss A's Suzy, who went to the same middle school as her. Soyeon is the main vocalist of Laboum, and she admits to feeling the pressure of having to lead the group with her singing. She has said in interviews that she personally falls into a slump now and then, not because of the words of others, but when she feels that she is not moving forwards in terms of personal development. Soyeon is a perfectionist and worries easily about things. Like their labelmate Brown Eyed Girls, Soyeon wants Laboum to become a group that can be easily recognised by the public just with the mention of a single song. In her free time, Soyeon likes to sleep.
Soyeon's role models include SNSD's Taeyeon, and ballad singer Lyn. Like them, she wants to be active with ballads and drama OSTs, and she also wants to be like IU and develop her own vocal colour. She would personally like to collaborate with Park Hyoshin. Predebut, Soyeon sang a n OST song for the drama Can We Love. One of her talents include imitating IU's vocals in her song, Good Day. According to the other members of Laboum, Soyeon suits a winter image as she has a warm voice, and looks like Frozen's character, Olaf. She is sometimes like a friend, like a sister, and also like an adult. Rather than a mother figure, she says that she takes on the "dad" role in Laboum. As one of the shorter members of Laboum, Soyeon has also admited to being jealous of ZN's long legs.

zn.
BAE JINYE. 1994.06.09. main dancer, vocals. blood type a. bucheon.
Known as Laboum's girl who lives a lingering scent when she passes by, ZN has said in an interview that that description was merely one given by PR, but she isn't like that at all, though she has recently been applying handcream to leave scents when she touches things. She is one of the tallest memebrs of Laboum, and according to Solbin looks really chic, but actually has a very bright and energetic personality. According to 15&'s Jimin, she looks like Jiwon from Spica. ZN is known to be a fantastic dancer, and was originally supposed to debut in a girl group that had a harder, more warrior like concept, but somehow she found herself in Laboum, the difference in group concepts of which was initially hard to get over. Along with Yulhee, she is supposedly the messiest in the dorm. Solbin has mentioned that ZN sometimes looks as if she doesn't want to be bothered about anything and comes off as cold, but ZN responded saying that she is purely lazy and can't be bothered to do little things like close windows and toothpaste caps. When asked what kind of nutritious food she likes to eat, ZN has mentioned more than once that all of Laboum love to eat jokbal, or pigs feet, and asks her fans to eat it at least once a month.
ZN's role models include Alicia Keys and Keyshia Cole. She loves acoustic and R&B music, and would personally like to collaborate with JYJ's Kim Junsu. According to the other members of Laboum, ZN takes care of herself well, and is always optimistic. Whenever one of the other members is down, ZN is the one to lead them in a positive direction. She is shy at first but then bubbly and comfortable when you get to know her.

haein.
YEOM HAEIN. 1995.05.19. vocals, dance. blood type b. ojeonggu (bucheon).
Known as Laboum's head of talents and charms, Haein is easily distinguishable by her pink hair and big eyes. According to 15&'s Jimin, she seems to have a very sweet personality and is very outgoing. During their Pit-A-Pat promotions, Haein payed the most attention to her hairstyling, going as far as to dye her hair every week to try out new colours and accesories to look different with each performance and garner more attention for the group. Haein prides herself in being very dextrous, and in her free time enjoys painting her nails and doing nail art. Predebut, Haein would be the one member who would gladly do the others' nail art according to their requests. She is known to have a very unique voice, and fans have wondered if her singing voice is fake or electronically altered due to the difference in how she sounds in their songs. She has proven in their Pops in Seoul Rising Star interview that her voice is indeed real, just unique, and that she hopes that people ask these questions because they find her voice interesting.
Haein's role models include Lee Hyori and Kim Bumsoo. In regards to Lee Hyori, rather than mentioning her vocals, Haein wants to be like her in the sense that she wants to become someone who knows her strengths and has her own personal colour. She would personally like to collaborate with Seo Inguk. Acoording to the other members of Laboum, Haein is easygoing and honest, resulting in her taking a longer time to finish photoshoots or even eating during meals. She is full of mischief when she wants to play, but is the most serious when it comes to work.

solbin.
AHN SOLBIN. 1997.08.19. visual, vocals, rap. blood type a. seongnam.
Known as Laboum's reverse charm, Solbin is called this because she has looks that make people see her as an ice princess, though she is actually very easygoing and different in personality from the way that she looks. She is said to look like Girl's Day's Hyeri. Predebut, Solbin took part in Brown Eyed Girl's One Summer Night MV, and The Original MV teaser [cw: flashing lights, strobe effects]. Solbin attends Hanlim Multi-Art High School, and is in the same grade as 15&'s Jimin. The two of them are good friends, though Solbin doesn't like to admit that she and Jimin have the same sense of humour. Solbin is confident in her looks without make up on, and likes to cook in her free time. One of the talents that she has showcased on After School Club was a one-shot sound impersonation of the Super Mario games' sound effect that happens when Mario bounces on a mushroom. Solbin has mentioned in an interview that she keeps a diary, and at the end of everyday lists down five things that she is grateful for. When asked what she would do if Laboum were to win on a music programme, Solbin responded saying that she would go to Myeongdong and make 100 bowls of bingsu, or shaved ice dessert, to which Yulhee said that she would eat all 100 bowls of.
Solbin's role models include Lee Hyori, Beyonce, and Ariana Grande. Like Lee Hyori, she wants to become an artist that will be around for a long time, and wishes to be versatile and enter acting as well, like A Pink's Eunji. She would personally like to collaborate with her friend 15&'s Jimin. According to the other memebrs of Laboum, Solbin is actually very fun to be around and knows when to let go of her on screen image, and is known to burst into jokes when even during a first meeting. She shows lots of affection and consideration towards the rest of her members, and is Laboum's mood maker.

yulhee.
KIM YULHEE. 1997.11.27. maknae, vocals, rap, dance. blood type o. bucheon.
Known as Laboum's puffy cheeks and bouncy ball, Yulhee is the youngest member of Laboum, and is easily distinguishable by her short hair that makes her look cute. Predebut, Yulhee has taken part in a U-Kiss' music videos [cw for both: flashing lights, strobe effects], including Standing Still MV and Inside of Me PV, as well as Lim Changjung's Open the Door MV. She was the last member to be chosen to join Laboum's final lineup, and initially worried about how to get close to the other members, but was happilylaccepted into the group by them and never left her to wander alone. Even at such a young age she seems insecure about [cw: body image] her lingering baby fat which she considers a personal physical flaw, but the other members all disagree and say that she is adorable, and agree that she has the best body out of all of them. Along with ZN, Yulhee is one of the messier members in the dorms, and apparently takes the longest to get ready, but only because she is the hardest member to wake in the mornings before their schedules. When she first sees someone Yulhee looks first at their eyes, and has happily admitted that she likes single-lidded guys such as Infinite's Sunggyu and Suga of BTS.
Yulhee's role model is Sunggyu from Infinite, and she would personally also also like to collaborate with him in the future. According to Laboum, Yulhee is the cute maknae who puts all of them in a good mood. Even when being scolded, she responds well to the older memebrs and understands them, taking their words and advice seriously. She is apparently also good at games and dealing with computers and technology.
