• One exquisite weekend: involved relaxing at the charming, old-world Polly Bar and then socialising at another splendid bar nearby (Lambs Go Bar) with friends! I really love the decor of Polly and the whole atmosphere of the place and especially the fact they sell Absinthe drinks. I need to remember this for future reference!
• Another weekend: attempted to create a sparkly-velvet coffin-shaped-purse/container with my awesome new Handicrafts Glue... I'm using it as a serviette holder at the moment! :o)
• I baked mini-cupcakes with chocolate sprinkles the other weekend as my in-laws were coming over to see our new polished/sanded floors...
• 'Twas enchanted with what I unearthed the other day: a purple-velvet beret, velvet-&-glitter top & bodice-style top, a white-lace-vintage-victorian-style singlet, crafty items & craft-related books, fake tattoos and most notably, a new wand... A lady asked me if my lips were tattooed on... Is that a compliment or a criticism? Why would anyone tattoo their lips on? Do I look like Michael Jackson to her?
• Today I unearthed a bag of tulle (can never have enough of the stuff) today... Plus a purple petticoat (can never have enough petticoats also I might add)! Then enjoyed a quick devonshire tea for breakfast... Delicious!
Also today I've been listening to some Emilie Autumn... Superb! Her style and music is amazing and I'm starting to really get into it. She also wrote a book and is very crafty. A very talented lady!
• We went to Gilly's for the Shana Tova lunch and it was fantastic. She always goes to so much trouble. I adored the gorgeous place-cards Sammi made herself including little flowers made from tissue-paper. The meal was exquisite too, with fish as the main meal and 3 different desserts including crepes with chocolate mousse. Yum!
