'Twas a lovely long weekend:
* I wore plaits with ribbons (for the first time in ages)as we went grocery-shopping and also while I did some mundane housework/chores! Certainly made things more fun!
* I mended and sewed elegant, black gloves, black-and-grey striped top, and a black asian-style dress so I was proud of myself!
* I have been leisurely reading my book on Gothic Music by Dave Thompson (nearly finished it now), as well as continuing my delightful Anne Radcliffe book and Anne Bronte book etc. I hope to read all the gothic fiction novels I can find eventually!
* We made the pilgrimage to the Queen Victoria Market yesterday (where I finally found Brett's Alchemy Gothic ring (the kabbalistic one that he has wanted for so long)! We ate the divine donuts that the market is so famous for. I tried on lots of different top hats that were to-die-for but unfortunately didn't find one in the right size for my tiny head or one that was also in the right colour. Oh well! Hopefully one day I can get one I am happy with!
Also went to the marvellous minataur, the sumptuous smoke dreams (where I purchased a pair of black-footless-stockings with gold-glittery-skulls on them and they were on special too)!
* Today was filled with more shopping-adventures with Andrea and Lorraine at Southland (as well as for lunch)! It was fabulous fun to be Andrea's style consultant for the day, we assisted her in buying a couple of garments for her trip! Andrea bought me a lovely eyeshadow-set (she is so gorgeous and generous)!
