The blood relic of San Gennaro (Saint Januarius) failed to liquefy on Friday (16 Dec, the anniversary of his patronage to Naples).
Last time that didn't happen was 1980, which was considered a precursor to the Irpina earthquake. It should also be noted that it didn't liquefy in 1939 (start of WWII) or 1940 (Italy entered WWII), so there is some significance to this miracle.

I truly hope this isn't an omen for that, but then again, anything is possible.
