Ah! Finally playing a gig in Delhi :)
Saturday Night 17th Feb, at a farmhouse. Its being organised by a few music enthusiasts (obviously!!) who happen to be a bunch of oldies who're doing it to "escape" back into the past for one night and play a few songs within a small group of friends and wellwishers. so entry is on an invitation basis only. the music won't just be limited to their genre, a couple of local bands have been roped in to play as the pro acts too.
I am included in the "home band" that's backing up the oldies in their set which comprises stuff from the Beatles, CCR, Jimi Hendrix etc. But more interestingly, three of us from this home band will be slipping in a short set too :) Thats drummer Ashwin Andrews (Orange Street, Nightmare on ELm Street, Prestorika), Bassist/vocalist Andrew and me on guitars. Playing as a three piece band we plan to cover a few classic rock numbers. it should be interesting!
