I had a meeting in Port Dickson a week ago; stayed at Bayu Beach Resort. Nice place, nice facilities, but I couldn't really make use of them because the schedule sucked, and there were too many people around that I knew from work. I never could really enjoy myself unless I'm with close friends or family. The beach looked nice, and I wanted to really have a nice, long dip but I couldn't. Bah!
Touched down at home quite late, so I went to a local eating spot for some take-out dinner (too tired to cook). Took some pictures while waiting for my seafood noodles. I like their version; a little expensive but worth it.
The place is called Tivoli Garden and is only a 7-minute drive from my house. It's actually a house. The owner turned the garden into a food court and his backyard into an open kitchen. He put up a big screen so that everyone can watch whatever is popular at the moment. The place is usually packed come football season :P. The food is nice and the ambience better. I tend to ask who's cooking, though because he has two cooks on shift duty throughout the week and one is much better than the other. This picture is part of the garden in front of his house. I was trying to sneak a pic of the cute guy that makes the drinks, but he was too far away :( He's pretty like a girl and I wanted to show you guys. You can just see his silhouette here.
This is another view. On the left is actually a water feature built into the house wall. It's really nice. But sometimes, it can look a little creepy.
We usually like to sit here; one side of the garden is renovated into booths and each booth is named after a country that takes part in the World Cup (Yeah, the owner's a real soccer fan ^_^). That particular night, I was sitting in Sweden. LOL! Ignore the date on the picture. Didn't set the year again.
Nice place, no?
