I had forgotten that with the start of a new semester, comes the accompanying journey of trying to find one's class location. Unfortunately though, I was unfortunate to have a class in the Library Stage 2 1020. Relying on the map that I had since the beginning of the year, it showed me that it was located behind the library and near the post office and the bank. Piss easy I thought. I've been around that area thousands of times ...
However though, I spent close to half an hour just circling that particular area like a vulture ... Why was there no big sign going "LIBRARY STAGE 2 - ENTER HERE!"? Why? I'll tell you why - cause the Library Stage 2 was actually the [old] Law Building ...except nooooo, they didn't point that out on the shitty map. GARGHGHGHGHGHG.
Aside from that though, uni's been pretty uneventful - go to class, sit in class, try to listen to the lecturer but end up thinking about aimless things. Make a pact to complete all homework this semester [yes I know what you're thinking cause I'm thinking that too]. So yeah ...
Tonight was pretty funny though. I caught the bus home and when I sat down, I saw someone that looked a LOT like someone I knew [like 85%], but I wasn't sure if it was him since there'd been a few times at uni where I thought it was him but it wasn't ... I kept starting at the back of his head for 5 minutes until I sent him an SMS going "Are you on the 413 bus atm?!". When he received the SMS, his initial reaction was hilarious - he started frantically looking around the bus, as if someone was stalking him. :)
Okay, maybe it's not as funny, having it written here, but it was funnyyyy then - guess it's one of those "you had to be there" moments. Don't you just hate it when you tell someone about something really funny and they don't laugh and you just feel like a lame ass idiot?
On another note, I recently finished watching It Started With a Kiss - a TW drama based off a Jap manga called Itzara na Kiss. A few had said it was pretty good *coughdaisybutsheonlyhadwatcheduptoepisode7cough* and so basing off that recommendation, I started on it last week .... it's a 20 episode drama which is really popular in Taiwan, as they're thinking about making a sequel to it and it's been the top show for 18 weeks.
HOWEVER. In my personal opinion, I thought in all honestly ... it was quite shit [except for the last 5 episodes]. This is because for the first 15 episodes [approximately, give or take], the male lead, Zhi Shu treates the female lead, Xiang Chin like SHIT [much in the similar style of Full House, although not as emotionally drawn out and fucking boring in the 2nd half], even though he knows she has like this MASSIVE crush - a crush so massive that it's so ...
URGHHH. The show just pissed me off for the majority of it cause:
- Zhi Shu treats Xiang Chin like SHYTE, as well as his little brother cause of her lack of intelligence.
- Xiang chin is so FUCKING STUPID. Like not just academically, but...common-sense-ly. I guess overly naive would be the word[s] here.
- Xiang Chin has no self-respect - she's so infatuated with Zhi Shu that she doesn't know when to be ashamed of her actions. Like, after she finds out what place he works at, she goes over to the place and pesters him NON-STOP. It's like she has no consideration for him - like how much of a bother she might be
- Like are we living in the 21st century or what here?! This WAS made in 2004-2005 right ... SO HOW COME THERE'S NO SENSE OF FEMINISM IN IT?!?!
I know I know. It's just a TV show, no need to get so puffed about it and all ... but ARGHGHGHG.
Aside from that though, the OST has some awesome music [but I might be slightly biased towards it since my opinion of the show changed in the last 5 episodes]
Off to watch the season finale of BB06. Go Camilla! [although i'd for for Jamie .... if he was a girl. LOL]
