I always go to a Subway for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, since it's right next to the building I have two of my classes in and haven't wanted to go too far for food while it was freezing. The nice cashier guy there recognizes me as a regular; he always gives me a big smile and asks how I'm doing, and before spring break said they were going to miss me while I was gone, haha. I was always a bit bemused by it- little bit cautious about older guys/men staying stuff like that to me, I guess.
Today he told me, "You're smiling. Good! Always keep smiling."
Heh.
Weather is sunny and in the 70s today, so I think I shall lie outside with a good book for a bit.
