in which your fearless narrator studies screen printing

there's gonna be a new open mic in town, which means as soon as psyches_task and i get it named, we're gonna need to advertise it. and one of the cheapest and most striking ways to do that is to screen-print our posters. i just ordered a beginner's kit, complete with instructional DVD, for less than you'd think. i'm stoked. and John Kofonow's already given his blessing. it's a good life.

this may take a while, though, so if any of you 505'ers know someone who knows someone who'd like to show me the ropes, that'd be real nice of you to ask on my behalf. DVDs are great & all, but there's nothing like hands-on demonstration to set the pace.

or if some of you have advice... i'm open to that, too. i'll print it out and bring it downstairs to refer to.

i promise when the day comes, i'll scan the results and post. promise promise.
