Momma Update
My mom went to see the ortho doc yesterday. He's pretty confident she won't need surgery/pins/super steel bionic implants, but commented that she was needing to stay off of work for a couple months. Yay for short term disability in this case and AFLAC picking up so much of the deductibles....
All in all, she's fine, but mildly down about the work thing and likely being off of work until after the New Years. What's worse, is she can't even do any of her normal hobbies as she needs both hands to do well... all of them. I'm going to see if the siblings and I can't load her up somewhat with new books to read and tv series to watch.
