Go Away, BoomBangs!!
I have not updated in a couple of days because I was so rattled by what happened a couple of nights ago!!
You know those BoomBang things, the LOUD things, that are accompanied by the Flashing White Lights? The things that happen when it Rains? Well, I will admit that I do not like them very much... okay, not at all... but I can usually just go take a nap or something, and before I know it, they're gone.
But the other night, my Human and I were both trying to sleep, and the BoomBangs were SOOOO LOUD... and the Flashing White Lights WOULD NOT STOP. Bloody Tuna, it was crazy!! It was dark out, but the Sky was lit up almost all the time for three whole hours. And the BoomBangs were shaking the House!! It was like we were being invaded by Marshins or something, like what they show on those crazy TeeVee shows my Human watches. I was SCARED!! I think I even lost a few whiskers just from nervousness. I went in the Bathroom, then in the Closet, then under the Chair, then under the Coffee Table. But I ended up in the Loft-Thing underneath the Covers...
...and I finally felt kinda safe... until my Human pointed out that my Tail was hanging out, and that was a dead giveaway to any BoomBangs or rogue Marshins that might be looking for ME!!!
Oh, the stress.
It's a good thing that doesn't happen very often,
or I wouldn't have any whiskers left at all.
